Senior Supply Planner - FULLTIME position with BLOOMBERG

The Role

Bloomberg**s Procurement Planning department is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to work within the Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintaining existing relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers
Working closely with various groups in Supply Chain,
Managing backorders at procuring plants
Working to reduce inventory
Achieving new goals for the fiscal year for key metrics
Troubleshooting SAP system issues and assisting planners with system related problems.

Required skills

** Minimum of 7 years of relevant planning experience in materials management, MRP, master scheduling, production planning and inventory management.
** Experience in maintaining relationships with Purchasing, Quality and Engineering teams
** Experience managing teams of 5-10 people
** Knowledge of SAP is required, with hands-on experience in maintaining master data
** Advanced degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience.
