So this past april i got the dreaded fed ex package throwing a concern because i had a felony malicious micheif which happend aug 2004. but i forgot to mention that i had a stalking charge (misdemeanor charge). and i think thats what did me in so when i got the call the person that i was supposed to call was saying that i had withdraw my offer. she never said anything about waiting 18mts before i can apply, and i heard that i have to wait for it to be 10yrs old before i can apply. please help, i really want to get into boeing.

You had a felony mischief, and a stalking charge man. That doesnt look too good. I believe you have to wait 10 years till your last charge. Good luck.

But whats all these people saying on the forum saying that they have to 18mts then they can reapply same ordeal as me i forgot to put the misdemeanor stalking so whats the difference, and some friends of mine that work at boeing (everett) were saying i would just have to wait 18mts because "being dishonest" just the fact you said i have to wait 10yrs from the date of conviction really confuses me??

Im thinking they make you wait 10 years without any infractions to make sure you're a good boy and cleaned up and changed. Everyone has made mistakes when they were young, im sure Boeing knows that. Theyre not going to hire someone that that just had a charge 2 or 3 years ago. Shows you havent changed. 10 years without any problems, that sounds better.

Also, Boeing is BIG on being their employees being upfront about messing up. When you "forgot" to disclose one of your charges, it looks like you're hiding something. One thing they stress to us everyday is, if you mess something up, you NEED to tell someone so it can be fixed, and never try to hide something. So im thinking the 18months is when you can re-apply because you didnt disclose everything.

So maybe like a month or so before the 18mts is up should i call that boeing hotline just to make sure that its ok to reapply, or should i just wait until its been 10yrs from the date of my conviction? Please give me your opinion?

To be honest man, i would call the HR person you spoke with and ask them what you should do, and when you can apply again.
