Hi there, I received a contingent job offer for an inspector position at the Everett facility a few weeks ago, and yesterday I got a call from Verifications inc.. saying my past employers records were not found so then I went to the IRS and grabbed all of my forms and emailed them to the background check company. Today, I called and just confirmed that they had any issues with those forms and they said there were a few concerns. They were both the same thing. On my application I wrote down the restaurants that I worked, but on the W2's for those restaurants was their corporate names. I then emailed verifications inc again with the corporate names followed by the restaurant names.. I didn't think this was a problem, because how many people put the corporate names on job applications? Anyway your opinion helps. |

The names and numbers you put on your app needs to match what their background check pulls up. If it doesnt jive they will have to get the right info from you to confirm. Doesnt mean they withdrawl you, just means they need more info. The process is long. You're working on $100-350 million dollar planes here, they want to make sure you are who you say who you are. |

This won't help you now but from now on you save every paystub you get. Mine are in a safe deposit box and go back 12 years! My sister has worked for several banks, many of which no longer exist. Once she had to prove that she worked where she said she did and she had her old paystubs to prove it. IRS records, credit reports, etc., can be misleading and many companies will just pass you by, if there are errors. |
