I have applied to several positions since 4/1/2010. I am still "under consideration" for all of them, including the IS career Foundation Program Participant. For all the others, I got a "Congratulations, please fill out an employee application to further move this process along." I filled them out two weeks ago and have not heard back. And for the ISCFP it still says under consideration, but I never received an email. How long does it take to be called for an interview in regards to entry level positions? Am I still under consideration for the ISCFP, since I never got an e-mail to fill out an application form or are they taking longer to hire for that position?

This subject has been discussed if you search past threads. From my experience the "under consideration" varies from a couple weeks to several months. In all instances I was asked to fill out an application, I received a call or email not too long after to schedule an interview. Seems like the employment process/duration varies from site to site but it is also affected by the type of position, the size of the candidate pool, and how soon the position needs to be filled.

Thanks! I actually got an e-mail 3 days ago from an HR person asking for an updated resume. They mentioned that they will be conducting interviews this week and next week. I sent him my resume, but he has not contacted me in regards to an interview. Hopefully, I will get an interview...

Hello,

From my experience the "congratulations-fill out the application" email was almost always a 100% guaranteed interview. However, I received 2 of those emails and I DID NOT interview for those jobs. Furthermore, both positions were filled within 2 weeks after I received the emails.

Other than those 2 cases I have always been scheduled for an interview within a maximum of a week after I receive the email.

I received the "congratulations" email about two months ago,
but I got another one last week from an actual HR person. He asked me to
send my resume, since interviews will be conducted this and next week.
I havnt hears back since! It's been a week, since I got that email. I find it very
strange. Either the dates have been pushed back or I wasn't qualified.

I interviewed by phone for an employee development specialist job in SC on the 14th of October, 2 weeks later got an email saying congratulations, we need you to fill out an on line application before we can proceed furthar. that was complete on the 27th of October. how long might it take to hear back on anything. This really is a nerve racking process.
