Boeing already announced there will be layoffs in 2009, but what will the final number be? According to Seattlepi.com (Nov 20, 2008): The Boeing Co. warned Thursday it will lay off an undetermined number of workers in 2009 as part of a broad effort to reduce costs in a worsening economy and a "more challenging business environment." |

Most of the reductions are expected to occur in Washington state in the spring, and will affect mostly overhead functions not directly related to airplane production, Boeing officials said. www.komonews.com No airplane orders have been cancelled at this point. Boeing is continuing to hire our members into production jobs. Thirteen new members were added to the payroll last Friday and another 19 new members were added today. www.iam751.org |

Hi, Does anyone know if Boeing has a policy about 2 co workers having sexual relations outside of the work place. I just found out my wife was having sex with a guy she works with and they work together. Someone told me Boeing is against this as it might affect there work performance. Any info is helpful. Thanks. |
