Let me re-post. I don't know where the special characters came from.
I was laid off from Boeing in November, 2009. I was a GN&C Engineer at a southern California campus. I'm on First Consideration Recall, which means that I'm just above an external job seeker for a job opportunity. Out of the employees laid off that I know about, I have only seen one engineer that was ever laid off during my six years with Boeing, while the rest were transferred to other programs. (I'm not talking about the "good layoffs"--the people that go into retirement soon after.) He was laid off one month before I was, and to my knowledge Boeing has not hired him back yet either. I know Boeing is saturated with engineers in southern California right now; however, Boeing may pickup toward the end of next year. My question is this, have you heard of Boeing rehiring engineers after they were laid off?
