Hi all, I just got a job at Boeing in Ridley Park and was wondering if anyone knew if there is a gym at the plant? If there is a gym, are there also racquetball courts? Thanks for the help! |

@alex123 Could you tell us some info on your experience with the hiring process at the Ridley Park, PA location? I recently went in for my second interview for an entry level 2 salary job, and was wondering what the turnaround time was for a response back, as well as if they sent you the offer electronic or via Fedex/UPS. Thanks! |

@alexp123 I saw your location as Blacksburg, VA. I'm graduating this semester from VT and just got a job at Ridley Park. How is it working there? Any suggestions on where to look for housing in that area? Thanks! |

I was wondering how it is working there and if you have any suggestions on finding housing in the Philly area. First of all, congratulations on your job offer with Boeing! This is a great company and fantastic place to start a career. Do you know what job you will be doing and/or which program you'll be on? To answer your first question, I love working for Boeing and this plant is in a great location. Boeing has put a lot of money into the plant and made some huge improvements. And it's pretty cool walking outside and seeing a Chinook flying around. To answer your second question, it really depends on what you're looking for. If you don't mind the 4% income tax, paying for parking and the traffic and want to be close to bars and the nightlife, the city is where you should look. If you want something a little quieter, more suburban-ish but still want easy access to bars, events and that kind of stuff, you'll want to look in Delaware County. Media, Swarthmore, Ardmore, Aston, Broomall, Bryn Mawr and West Chester are good places to start. All of these places have great restaurants, bars, etc and are close to the city and to the plant. Let me know if you have any more questions! |

Not sure what program I'll be working for yet though. As for housing, I'd prefer more suburban-ish, so I'll look at those areas you suggested. Are you still working at Boeing in the Philly area? |

I'm still at the Philly plant, I'm not sure why my location is set to Missouri and then wouldn't let me change it.
