There is a great story on www.msn.com about Boeing bringing the 787 back in house.

Boeing (BA, news, msgs), beset by repeated snarls that have delayed commercial deliveries of its 787 Dreamliner into early 2010, is rethinking the global outsourcing model that critics say has caused much of the nearly two-year holdup. The company is making plans to bring more work back in-house.

I think this is great news as I am hoping to get hired at the Boeing plant in Everett Washington as an Assembly Mechanic.

Great news Gottscha1, however incompetent and corrupt Boeing management will resist bringing back the number of jobs they should bring back until they are removed and replaced with competent management. Boeing management should do everyone else a favor and resign immediately. They need to reinstate pay for performance (and not stock price) ASAP at Boeing.
