Training 2nd shift?

If the job is for 2nd shift, I wonder if the training will be on 1st or 2nd shift? It seems like it would be on 1st but I don't know?

Its usually mentioned in ur offer letter. For me its mentioned.

My shift is mentioned. I will be on 2nd shift.
I was just wondering if since I am on second shift, will the training be 2nd shift as well?

mmmm not sure about that, hows ur back ground check and other things going? Did they ask u to submit docs for verification....

I was not asked for any documents. Were you?

Hey, another thing I just noticed today... When I log into my BESS acct, click on contingent offer, then offer accepted - where all the tabs are... At the top on the right it says "DECISION DATE 2/20/12"

What is that? Do you have something like that?

Yes, i was asked for documents may be coz my degree is not from the U.S.
The decision date means, the maximum time u can take for deciding whether to accept or reject the position. its usually 1 week from the day u received the Offer, it shows 21st for me.

1 question, i had my drug test yesterday, so by when will it show complete on the BESS?

I took my test the day before yesterday. It showed complete today! So yours will probably be one more day?

Alright, thanks :) Probably ur background check will be done faster than mine, coz mine involves international checks too.. I guess it will take 2-3 weeks for me!!

I emailed my rep yesterday. She said it takes typically 2-3 weeks. She also said that Boeing security is reviewing mine. I can't help but check my status every hour - sometimes more... Such a long process!

how is boeing security reviewing? what r they checking?

Well I'm not 100% sure. I think what happens is Veifications Inc. does the background check then they forward the results to Boeing security. From there, I think they clear you for hire or if there's a concern then you will get the FED-EX letter stating the concern and the next step in the process.

If they clear you for hire then the other tabs open up and the rep calls with the next step.

oh okay, so it means for u the Verfication is done from Verifications Inc..thats good! Mine is still pending from their side as its International.
