Hi I applied for an MPP tech 3/4 position in Seattle over the summer. When I got the interview email I got a Global Staffing email right away asking me to fill out a detailed application. The interview went really well, but the day after I was called and told they found someone more qualified. The job required a security clearance, which I don't have and I have a couple minor background issues. I told them I wasn't squeaky clean, and completed the application as such. A few weeks ago I got an email for an interview for an engineering test/eval 2 position. No global staffing application. I interviewed with 6 managers, and it went amazing. Perfect match and I felt I aced all the questions, body language was 100% positive and they were only interviewing 3 other people. I disclosed my background issues at the end of the interview and no one seemed to care. In fact, they thanked me three times for my honesty and their responses were all positive, but they said it was ultimately up to global staffing but it shouldn't be a big deal. They told me they would get back to me over the phone in 3-4 weeks. Two weeks later (a couple days ago) I got the Global Staffing application email for this position, which I just completed with full disclosure, again. What does this mean?! I'm confused as to why the email didn't come with an offer or some other form of communication as it was the same process as the interview over the summer, only in a different order. When do I start bugging people? I want to be patient but it's hard to focus at work this would be a pretty big raise and an amazing opportunity. |
