I'm very interested in working at Booz Allen Hamilton and feel that I have the right skills to be successful. One concern I have is that much of the work seems to be focused in the defense/military industry. My religion precludes me from working in these fields, and I am wondering if there is any way I can work/be successful at BAH while avoiding these fields. If so, how would one broach this subject with a recruiter and during an interview?

Danny7 et al.,

BAH does a lot of work in DoD, however BAH also does a lot of civil agency work and if that is ok with your beliefs you could just say that your interests are in that type of work. At BAH your religious preferences should not interfere with your success or career. It should also not be carried into your daily dealings thus causing any prejudice on your part either.
