Boston Market pays minimum wage to all employees but management.
They do not give raises, unless you get promoted into management.
You can work there for 3-5 years before you get a review and never get a raise.
Breaks, What are breaks? Some managers will let you stand around for a few minutes eating a spoonful of one food item, but never a break.
Benefits? You get 50% off one individual meal on days you work. Maximum $5 off.
Medical, Dental, AD&D? Nope, It's time for Obama Care. Several of the employees (including managers) are on SNAP (food stamps) and Medicaid, because Boston Market offers no medical/dental plan of any kind.
Perks: sometimes you can eat a bite of food. In slow times, you can stand around and text as long as you don't get caught and stay out of sight of the security cameras all over the kitchen and serving areas to watch for employees stealing, texting, or doing bad things.
And I have seen many times when the chicken comes in and the cases were in a truck where the temperature was set so low that the entire load was frozen solid. "Never frozen" chicken, my a$$.
