What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does Bristol-Myers Squibb stack up against the competition?

I was called by BMS last friday September 7th asking if I was interested in a phone screen for the local Cardiovascular job that is posted on indeed.com. The phone screen was scheduled for 2:00pm this past monday and no one called me for the screen. Is this customary business practice. Anyone respond please.

Bristol Myers is terrible as a company. The people they hire are by the book, but totally incompetent. They will only defend the managers, the support staff suffer, have things thrown at them and going to Human Resources to resolve the problem is a waste of time. As a former employee of eight years, I was never placed in an appropriate role according to my high level skills. It is true, they only hire people based on either personality or if you know somone. They are highly disorganized as a company and downsize every three years. Don't waste your time with this company. I have worked with at least 20 different levels of management throughout my eight year career....None of them are still there.

I totally agree, the employees there that hold management positions do not even have a four year degree! So you tell me, they have to "know" someone!! No wonder they can't stay afloat!
