What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does CACI stack up against the competition? |

I am surprised they can even manage a contract. Based on what I have seen with the OPM contract, they are not going to be around much longer. I have spoken to atleast 9 contract investigators that have not even been paid. What a shame. |

Based on my recent experiences with them I really would put a lot of trust in them or anything the say, even in writing. I did and was hurt rather badly by it. Long story short I was offered a position from them in writing, I accepted it, filled out all of their new hire paperwork. Only hitch was after hearing nothing back from them for about three-weeks on a start date, I was called and told say the deal was off/offer rescinded without any real reason why. I had already put in notice at my current position, purchased a new car because it was supposed to be a job that involved a lot of East Coast travel. While I guess that is my problem, I trusted someone whom I shouldn’t have. It also appears that the person who extended me the offer, resigned shortly after doing so to go to work with CSC. He was at the Senior Director level. If their Senior Directors are punching out, what does that tell you? |

If you think you have a job offer from them, don't quit your current position or take any other action until you have a fixed firm start date. Personally I think they may have major issues. The seem to be reneging on job offers after they are offered & accepted. |

CACI does NOT do the investigation, Federal Investigators do. Those people are jerking you around. |

I've been working for CACI for about three months now on constant travel status. I must say that they are one the few companines that I've worked for that really doesn't have all sorts of B.S rules & regulations that get in the way of your doing your daily work. Nobody lurking over your shoulder or anything like that. All in all I'm liking my position. |

During my tenure with CACI I found the experience to be horrible. At my location it seemed only half the people actually came into the office while many of the others would come in late and leave early. Unfortunately these vanishing employees were the Architects, Program Managers, and DBAs, and as an Analyst if I ran into an issue and needed clarification it could be a week or more before I was able to get in touch with them. I could not work in an environment where so many vital team members were never available and everyone seemed apathetic towards their work. I really don't see how a company can continue to survive when so many of their employees are not committed. CACI Employee 2/04-6/07 |
