What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Capital Bank?

What do you like best about working at Capital Bank? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

Pay is very low, comparing with other local banks. Medical benefits are middle of the road. Travel? Well that depends on where you are located. If you are in south Florida, you will drive to the main branch. The CME and CMM are geographically challenged. You will be paid for mileage, BUT that is if you are able to leave your Branch as you will be working with a staff of 3. Yes, you and 2 others. that's it. So bottom line, don't do it to yourself or your family!!!! You will be so unhappy!!!!!

Yes, I work there and have many friends there as well. Depending on what position you are looking for. teller is $12-$13.50 depending on experience. Personal Banker is $14-$16.50. Branch Manger $40K or if you are an experienced manager you may be offered around $50K-$55K.. Your vacation time is like most companies, you accrue it throughout the year. Full time usually gets 17 days and this does include vacation and sick time. Branch Manager, depending on your title/experience, you will get 27 days. Just remember, most branches run on a staff of three and you have to go thru a " staffing coordinator " who then has to group you in with 3 to 4 other branches close by to see if they will be able to send someone to cover you.... Hope this helps you.
