Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at cardinal health?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at cardinal health?

Cardinal is not a fun company to work for. Expectations are that you work 4 hours take a 30 minute lunch and then work or 4 hours. Yes, you are correct, they do not allow breaks for whatever reason. If someone was thinking about going to work for them, I would consider prison, you would get treated better

You think working an 8hrs day...in an office...with a lunch break is hard work? You will never get promoted. I was in Orthopedic sales and prior military. Try getting up at 5am and covering surgical cases till 3pm, then going out and selling to offices and doing dinners at night followed up by sales meetings till 10pm...and repeating that on a weekly basis. Work is all about perseption. Cardinal is a great place to work for if you've actually had to grind it out previously.

Business casual means no tie, no acoutrements (tie clasp, pocket fold, cuff links etc) just a collard shirt, coat if you feel, slacks, and lace shoes.

Once you are hired they will try to brainwash you into the six sigma system. You will be scratching your head when you see all the time and money put into projects when there is NEVER ANY follow up.And since Cardinal has an extremely high turn over rate its a waste of time to even get anybody involved in the first place. They will always say it will pay off down the road LOL but it never does.Cardinal has no Business Model and while they are wasting time on their cult six sigma culture the competition is doing things old school and are kicking their Butt.Low pay and long hours and employee abuse is the Cardinal Health culture.
