What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Charming Shoppes?

What do you like best about working at Charming Shoppes? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

I am sure average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits are fine for an uneducated and unqualified worker. For example, right after I was hired I was told I was a liability to the company, probably because they had to pay for my experience and technical skills.
Anyone going to this company expecting great perks or special treats is naive. For example, in one department they would have "cake day" where you would sit in a room
and wait for a cake to come in. This was of more significance to the VP of credit than the fact that the database systems were inaccurate and inadequate

This is NOT a good company to work for, management here is only concerned about making themselves wealthy. Take a look at the inside trading report on Yahoo under "chrs" senior management are all wealthy as they continue to cut middle managers from stock and bonus plans and increase cost of benefits. They do not promote from within, management is unprofessional and completely lack leadership skills

I see that Tim White is now working here. When I worked for him at Linens N things he did not promote anyone. Except for his unqualified yes men of course. If you are in marketing you can forget about a promotion, he will always hire someone from the outside.
