Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Check N Go?

It is a good old boy organization. Look at the number of jobs available, not the best place to work!

This used to be a great company to work for. Unfortunately the upper management that is now in place has turned this into an oppressive place to work. Morale is in the toilet. People are bailing out across the company. They have taken micromanaging to a new level of obsession. You are required to find a way to loan to anyone no matter how poor the documentation is. The Corporate and upper field Management are driving this company to bankruptcy.

I wonder why Check n Go pulled out of PA. The DDO I had talked about team effort. Looks like the team has left PA. The pay was poor and hours were bad. A lot of promises made but not kepted. I am glad I found another job before they decided to leave PA. This company is a joke. They make billions in fees but pay their employees who make it for them pennies.

and clean , employees are dressed in company uniforms . Do we get together for *Friday happy hours* ..No...I would say a day in the life of a Check 'N Go employee is just like any other professional business.

If you Lie Cheat and Steal this is the place to be since they want young, hip, thin, steal or over expense not a problem as long as your store is clean and neat no room for evidence hidden away anywhere.

CNG went to uniforms they are not stain resistant and since you eat on the job and waiting on customers they become stained very easily. Workers don't make enough to pay for new ones and the larger women can't get them large enough so you have to wear mens shirt which in some area's of the county could send out the wrong message and get you killed but they would just hire someone else to replace you and life goes on.

Actually after the inflated exec salaries, all the extra pork barrel money given to the pet employess I heard it was only 52 Million Net I thought that I heard that PA was a compromise and they left there and another state rather than be shut down for violations but that is just what the rumor mill had going still researching that one

not defending check n go but they left PA because legislation was passed making them unable to operate in PA

I have been a manager for Check n Go for almost 6 yrs and even though it is a job I wonder if being unemployed would be better. They continuously change the rules so that when you just start to understand them it is changed again. My favorite is when a customer passes away, I am told by my DDO to try to get the money out of the account anyways.Why don't I just go pick the corpse for Gods sake??
