No I do not work at Check 'n Go do not know if I would want to. Just been doing some reading on them from the information from this site since it caught my eye. I have come across several states that seem to have a problem with this company either this is good fiction (do not say you are making it up) or government just not caring about the people who pay taxes.

Maybe we have the wrong people watching this site I guess what we should be doing is have all our legislators in every state and the Attorney Generals office in every state emailed this website. Seems when politicians see this site something happens... what do you thing gang???? Maybe we should also alert the media in every state and the major networks about this website... Class Action Waiver Doesn't Hold Up
Check 'n Go, a nationwide payday loan company based in Ohio, asked employees to sign a dispute resolution agreement requiring arbitration of employment disputes, including claims that the agreement itself was unfair. It also included a class action waiver specifying that with respect to covered disputes, neither the employee nor the company could "join or participate in a class action or representative action, act as a private attorney general or a representative of others, or otherwise consolidate the Covered Claim with the claims of others." Check 'n Go didn't explain the agreement to employees or give them the opportunity to opt out of it.

Now, in Murphy v. Check 'n Go of California, Inc., Calif. Court of Appeals (Dist. 1) No. A114442 (2007), a California appeals court has affirmed the ruling. The appellate court tracked the reasoning of the California Supreme Court in a recent case involving class action waivers in wage and hour lawsuits. There, the high court had ruled that the following factors had to be examined to determine a class action waiver's validity: (1) the size of the recovery sought; (2) the potential for retaliation against class members; (3) whether absent class members may be ill-informed about their rights; and (4) other obstacles that may make individual arbitrations not feasible.

So question is were you the one that received 296.97 per day for mileage or the one that wrote BM a collection letter and did the tracker CD to be disbursed?

**So, in esscence, what you are saying is; you were singeled out by Becky Meeks and given special privilages and additional store coverage in favoritism, not abiding by the "RULES" of the Corporate office!!!!!! Yours was based on race, my termination was based on my age and longevity with this company. I'm 61 ears old and had been with CNG going on 11 years. Audits were always 100% and my store was always the top store in Ohio in all areas. I just knew too much for Corp. to be comfortable when they became greedy!!!!!

Actually, they approached the Center For Missing Chldren so they would , in the eyes of the public, look good. Like they were all above board and wanted their name associated with someone/something that was good. All this is, is a public image propaganda situation. Eventually, I will be contacting them personally, as I am a former CASA volunteer (currently on sabatical) and I really don't want CNG's name associated with this great organization. He is also very protective of the average worker/citizen having already pursued actions against mortgage lenders and other business that have committed fraud against the citizen's of Ohio. Certainly he is already aware of the unseemly practices of payday lenders and may be prompted into an investigation of thier questionable lending practices and empolyee abuse if we contact him in mass with our concerns. They may not concern themselves with our complains, but I assure you that they will take pause if Attorney General Dann focuses his attention on them. I have already contacted them and got the run-around for whatever reason. I do know they will NOT get involved with any unemployment issues so I have been told by them. Now, with other issues, I am not quite sure. There is a connection to CNG and this office.

OH we hear she wasn't happy about it but she wasn't given a choice. Not sure if K her life partner)went with her would assume so if the house was sold. Anyway we know they cant get rid of her EVERY attorney said because of the potential lawsuits they have to let the two years go by in IN, so they moved her closer so they can damage control. Unless, some of those people worked with a company who admitted to supporting terrorist activity and the Congress allowed the high ranking officials to remain unnamed in the reports do you think she knows and is holding that over thier heads? OR are they using her as a cover up to continue the same activities at CNG? Maybe she isn't keeping her SHARE of the money. I just found out that the CSR in my old store is crying to customers about not being able to buy food for herself. She is making the customers feel so bad for her that they are giving her money. The customers are there for financial help from CNG but turning around and handing out money to the employees so they can eat. How professional is that? That also goes to show how well CNG pays their employees.

CNG worker in Indiana said: I do not recommend this company to anyone. The corporate office lets the higher ups in the field commit fraud and fire someone else for it. The company does not care about the employees in the field. They set high standards for the field and then change them at the last minute so they don't have to pay the bonus. They only start their managers at any where from $24,000 to $26,000 depending on the area you are in and the CSR's only get started between $8.00 to $8.50. If a higher up does not like you they will hold you back from promotions and raises to try to get you to quit on your own so they don't have to pay unemployment. I do not see this company staying open to much longer especially in certain states because of all the lawsuits and loan notes they are not paying. There is an ad in a Ohio newspaper stating they are moving the corporate office because the lease is up but us in the field were under the impression the company owned that building because they had it built. This is probaby one of the loan notes they did not pay and the building is being taken by the bank. So please anyone reading this DO NOT WORK FOR ANY CHECK N GO.

Third quarter of 2007 I qualified for a bonus of $1000 but the ROM, which is now in Ohio, wrote me up for bad numbers in quarter 2 but did not give me the write up until the beginning of quarter 3 so the bonus for quarter 3 I was suppose to get when quarter 4 bonus was paid out and in quarter 4 I qualified for $1900 but when the bonus was paid out I only received $800. This company will cheat you out of any money they can. Just since Christmas 2007 they have cheated me out of almost $2500. Stay away from this company!!!!! Not all payday loan companies are like this. Check N Go is by far the worst one. I agree with LEGram they are bad news for both employees and customers.

No he is not with CNG anymore. He was my DDO but they got rid of him for not being a right fit for the company. He was one of those DDO's that stood up for his people and that's why they got rid of him. Just another person they screwed.

PLEASE, email this web-site to the Governors in each state, especially, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan and Virginia. Also, email ths site to your State Attorney General's and all Senator's and House Reps. This is a great start to accomplishing something. There is a hearing in Ohio, slated for April 9th. LEGram is correct. It seems that lawmakers, in Ohio at least, are taking notice of payday lenders. I encourage anyone from Ohio to write/call/e-mail their represenatives to support House Bill 333. The bill will cap payday lenders rate of interest at 36%, essentially ending their reign as the legal "loan Sharks" we all know that they are. I will be spending my evening writing the mayors in support of thier positons concerning payday lenders and incourage then to apply as much political pressure as necessary to bring these malefactors to justice. Shortley after him, he recomended another (female) that he worked with at Blockbuster and she too, was hired as an Ohio DDO. After that,an RVP was hired as RVP, also from Blockbuster. Yep, they are all extremely arrogant, rude, condesending, egotistical and yet, don't "have a clue" what it really takes to run an individual store. Dawson once stated, "if it were up to hi, CNG offices would be open 7 days a week and until at least 10 o'clock at night; because Blockbuster has those type of hours and we would get more customers that way"!!!!! (Yeah, right >and < more robberies too!!! As you can see, I have a very STRONG DISLIKE for these Blockbuster people. Even Blockbuster has the commom sense to get rid of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
