Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Chevy Chase Bank?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Chevy Chase Bank?

the culture is terrible, unless your a pretty girl. the attire, is business, unless your a women, and anything you wear is ok, if your showing skin.

they dont care about the employees, regardless how long you worked there.

in january, the laid off hundreds of workers and replaced them with lower paid temp help.

The typical day in the life of a Chevy Chase Bank employee is to be bullied by managers, given no respite, many trips to the bathroom to vomit, and to also take all the prescription meds you must take to combat all the stress related health problems that you will get while under their employee...

They have been laying off during the holiday season, and using the economy as an excuse to get rid of those Management doesnt like. That is the company culture at Chevy Chase Bank...being a loyal employee for many years means NOTHING....

These guys are disgruntled or already laid off. The dress code depends on where you work. Some areas is full on Suit and Tie, others are Jeans and Causal wear. Where I work is business casual.

Just like any business you have good managers and not so good, it's no different here at CCB. They do take care of employees, the benefits are great compared to some of the other places I have worked/

Then you must not have ever had a real job if you think this place is so wonderful.
Oh that's right, you are part of the overpaid management that is surfing the net and posting on company time instead of doing actual work. No wonder you love your job so much.

And again the "must be management" comments, lol come on, at least have a real arguement not the same old lines everytime someone posts something you dont agree with.

Every company has good and bad things, CCB is no different. Sure some depts are better than others. Where I work is great, feels more like a family atmosphere than a real job. I have had many jobs and worked in many areas of the country and yes this is still the best job I have had. i accept responsability for my actions, for my mistakes and dont blame others if something gets screwed up. I bet you are one that always points fingers at others and always in denial about your own inadequacies lol.
