Do not apply to the CTA. It is a terrible place to work. Most of the bosses have no clue what they are doing. Total government mentality. If you are smart and good at your job, you are going to be singled out in a negative way. Stay away from these jobs, especially in the legal department. Awful, awful, awful work environment.

There is a reason for the high rate of openings within the legal department. Stay away from these jobs. There is so much backstabbing and gossiping that it is a terrible work situation and not worth the pay. It is without a doubt the worst place to work if you desire to actually practice law.

Just seems to me that they are having a hard time filling jobs at the CTA! Your comments are telling me why.

The real shame of it is that if they wanted to they would have the opportunity to have a stellar legal department. But, the attitude, culture, lack of team work, and backstabbing makes it a miserable place to work. Those that are there or stay there do so becuase they would never be able to find employment at any other law firm. Honestly, just sucks the life right out of you.
