What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Cingular?

What do you like best about working at Cingular? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

The starting wage is about 10 an hour with commission and the commission is terrible you mine as well work at Sprint. The benefits are the only great thing in the company other than than that its all based off favoritism especially at the carson city store. The manager is terrible and just sits on his butt all day long and expects everyone to do his job for him and everyone else is a back stabber. So my advice is don't work there you'll feel miserable all day long and wish it was back to the name Cingular where everything was normal.

The application and interview process was easy. However, it took a month for me to actually start. They sent me to training in the Midwest, 100's of miles from my home, stating all expenses would be paid for before I left but they left me hanging. I went to their training for 10 days but they didn't send my travel expense funds until 3 days before it was time to return home and the amount they sent was nowhere near what they promised. I promptly quit when I got back. My Cingular/The New AT&T experience was the worst!
