Do you have stories to tell? I sure do. Keep your eyes on this thread... And start sharing your stories. Citigroup's greed and workplace culture is so bad, executives will stop at nothing to get their employees to perform, and will go to any lengths to avoid taking responsibility for their own incompetence. Even if it means intimidating their subordinates with yelling, menacing looks and gestures, and actual physical violence. I worked for a woman with a revolving door of assistants, and am her latest victim. She's very high in the company. Keep your eyes open. More to follow... |

20 years ago (1989) I got a ticket for urinating outside and it resulted in me having to pay a fine. Upon applying for a sr. underwriter position for Citi I failed to disclose this "conviction" on my application (I had actually forgotten about it and I have passed background checks with, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual and, Bank of America without disclosing it) and I was denied employment with Citi for non-disclosure.

You are obviously lying since anyone that works for citi knows they do their background checks 2 months into your job. They do drugs testing beforehand but the complete background check is not completed until months later. I had a coworker who was asked to leave work that day bc of a past criminal offense that came up on his record. Once it was straightened out he was allowed to come back so please drop the race card. |

Next time you have to take a whiz, do it inside where nobody can see you. Where do you think you are, in Montana? You take a whiz or defecate outside, that's lewd conduct, and that's bad news. |

They will definately put the blame on the lower people on the totum pole. If they dump their work on other people knowing that THEY themselves can't do it, then go around telling others that so and so messed up! Don't dare try to tell management anything, they DON'T want to hear it!

If you put on the application for them not to check your present employer will they contact the current employer if your hired if you have checked "No" in the box? |

Harassment, abuse, intimidation...you name it, there's always so much DRAMA you can imagine. The whole employee this and that about this company is A BIGGEST JOKE anyways. Perfect example is their yearly survey. The company conduct survey for employees to raise concerns on working environment, management issues or whatever politicaly sounding correct to carry on doing business in Corporate America way you could think of. Managements gone nuts if you ever failed to participate, YET, nothing would ever be improved based on the result, I mean NOTHING. P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C... |
