Oh great. 30%. This sounds like the Bank of America temp job all over again. How long ago did you start the training class? "Only 30% of each 'class' will get perm status": did the trainers tell you that at the start? At Bank of America, very few people converted to permanent. In fact, it was as if they just stopped converting people people. All the temps that had gone permanent had started long before. After that, there were temporaries who were very fast and accurate and had been temping there for a YEAR and still holding out for the job with benefits! The "30%": How long do they temp for before they can become permanent? 3 months? Indefinitely? |

Citi says it will refrain from gouging customers excessively with over-limit fees when it starts clearing checks in reverse order. As mandated by financial reform, banks must allow customers to opt out of over-limit protection for debit cards, checking accounts are under no such restrictions. By clearing smaller checks first, Citi is essential taking away from itself the chance to charge its customers over and over for bounced checks. I read this here: Citi to give customers a break by clearing smallest checks first |
