Clearwire Chicago

Is anyone having any luck getting in contact with anyone at Clearwire? They keep posting job, but I'm not getting any contact from them.

This company seems to be nothing but bad news. Despite all of the negative comments that I have read online, I attended one of their "hiring events" in Des Plaines (because I really need a job). There was a little man who performed a little dog and pony show for about an hour. He then proceeded to tell us that they would be interviewing us in the next room. We were told that if we could fog a mirror that we would be called back for formal interviews. Since many of us in the industry know each other, we called around and NONE of us received a call back. With that said, either we all botched our 30 second interviews, or this company is working hard to make it LOOK like they are hiring when all that they are trying to do is appease their investors and unfortunately they are wasting people's time in the process. I checked back to see that they are slowly taking down their job postings - I assume to make it look like they have filled these positions, however while doing my research on this company, I read that they have played the same game in other markets with their postings. In my opinion and from what I have read, I think that this company is not looking to hire a staff in Chicago at this time. I sure about the other markets, however it appears that this is the case elsewhere. Hopefully they can find a way of keeping their company afloat without wasting other's time in a horrible job market.

I too attended the job fair in Des Plaines, IL for the Chicago area. At the end of my brief interview he told me that I would be coming back for a second interview. The lady that signed me up for my second interview said that I would be receiving a confirmation email for my second interview. Well, I checked my email the next day(Tues. seeing how my second interview was suppose to be on Wednesday)and I didn't get anything from them. I called Deke Waggoner to find out what was going on and when he called me back about he said that they decided not to have me back for a second interview. No one even gave me a reason why? Which is really to bad for them because I had so many people ready to get their services when it was time but now, they don't want anything to do with them.

So here is my question: If this company is wishy/washy in their hiring practices how wishy/washy are they going to be when it comes to doing business with their customers?
