It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Clearwire? Any advice on striking the right note? |

Honestly, who would know in the case of some "opportunities?" Case in point - the Senior Brand Marketing Manager role has been advertised for over 7 months. In this market, you can be certain that there are well-qualified candidates for the role - were the role to actually exist. If it does and Clearwire HR can't identify suitable candidates, then you can bet that the threshold for interview invites is unattainable or the organization is so unappealing to those that view it from the interview process that no one would accept the role. |

How about the question, "Would your wife leave you if you worked so many hours?" Yeah, it was asked to my husband in an interview for Clearwire. Run. |

Let me share my experience with Clearwire (luckily, I found this forum before getting sucked in) After the F2F interview, I did ride along with a Rep. Wow, First thing is I see him with a table set up on a corner of a busy intersection. He was wearing khakis and a worn out Clearwire polo shirt and sunglasses. Not really a professional look but the thing that really threw the RED FLAG was the first thing he greeting me with was "I'm having a F'in terrible day, and I'm F'in pissed" This guy cursed like a construction worker. This was supposed to be more of an observational ride along but he told me to go pass out flyers in another street corner.?! Well, I'm proactive, but like others have said in the forum, the rep had NO PROFESSIONALISM whatsoever. What surprised me was that the tactics they use is totally ineffective for sales, having a table setup at a street corner is hardly effective. Well, I stuck around and helped him pass out flyers, and then professionally said thank you for the ride along after it ended. Its really sad to see a company go down the drain due to unorganization, and lack of professionalism. Clearwire is not good place to work and those should look elsewhere. |
