What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does Combined Insurance stack up against the competition?

Ill admit their better with commissions and regular pay, than aflac. But honistly the pay and commissions (unless your a sales pro, and in that case you shouldnt be selling supp. ins. door to door) are like compareing mcdonalds to kfc. I worked there for quite a while, and the only people that tell you other wise are still brain washed.

My husband works for combined and for the past 15 years he has made between 50- 100 K at it. He is a manager and works hard. The people that do not make it with Combined are the ones that are satisfied with the status quo! They do not want to work hard to be successful! Most do not work 5 days a week for 8 hours a day. They slack off because they can not force themselves to work. No one is sitting next to you making you go to the next stop! You must be self motivated to work for Combined and want the finer things in life. Combined has sent us to Mexico, Las Vegas, and otehr wonderful vacations year after year!

Any advice on striking the right note?

No need to worry. They hire EVERYBODY. It's a multi-level marketer, with kind of a cult-like environment. Everyone speaks the same, and everyone who defends the company here speaks the same too. "PMA! Blah blah! You can't handle it can you? blah blah. Have fun at walmart you get what you put in. Mr. Stone says this! Mr. Stone says that! Read self help books! Pep talks! Blah blah. its not a job its a career. People who dont like it / leave are ppl who are lazy who dont like to work"
It's all a sham.
