DMV violations that will prevent you from getting hired with COMCAST?

I want to apply for a Tech Position with COMCAST, in the Portland area, but I had a DWI 2 1/2 years ago in another state. No infractions since then but will this automatically eliminate me from consideration? Does anyone know how far back they check? Was anyone ever hired with a DWI on their record? Was anyone hired with a DWI on their record for positions that don't require driving?

For the record I do understand how wrong it is to drink and drive and I would never do it again. My conviction was from a checkpoint, no accidents or injuries, thank goodness. I don't want anyone on the forum to think I'm an alcoholic driving around putting other lives in jeopardy.
