Jean in Windsor Locks, Connecticut said: Can any CommutAir flight attendants give any information on training, pay, reserve or anything like that? Thanks! Hi Jean. I'm Rynaldy from Providence, RI. Did you recently go on a interview with CommutAir and expected to go to training on October 6th? I'll be heading to Cleveland for training myself. I'm very excited to go, I love the Dash 8 Q200. I know it will be a tough 3.5 weeks, I know I'll stay focused and pass it with flying colors. I hope to hear from you soon. |

Jean in Windsor Locks, Connecticut said: Hi Rynaldy! Hi Jean. So, you gotten everything finished. You completed the questionnaire and sent your resume to Danielle. That's great. I do hope she contacts you soon to go to Newark for an interview. Thanks for your support. The Q200 is such a wonderful airplane. It's going to be an honor flying it. Right now, I'm tracking some of their flights on www.flightaware.com. Their airline symbol is UCA. So far, all of their flights are all going to CLE. Jean, my email is rynaldyrvp@yahoo.com. I would like to keep in touch with you about updates. If you are contacted with an interview and get in, I can tell you first hand how everything goes in training. I can't wait to go. |

Jean in Windsor Locks, Connecticut said: Hi Again, I'm a turboprop man myself. My brother and I love to see the Dash come into PVD. I flew in the Q400 that seats 74 people. That means, two flight attendants need to be in the aircraft. The Q200 has 37, so that means only one has to be inside. I love the 200 better because its four bladed. Every time it turned on, the sound is so beautiful. It sends chills down my spine every time it revs up for take off. Even taxiing sounds great. I heard that the Dash 8 compared with the CRJs. The Dash is 50% more fuel efficient than the CRJ going the same amount of miles. Can you believe that? I know the props will be making their comeback very soon. Now, to answer your question. It was a while back when I finished the questionnaire. My resume wasn't too much of a hassle. You want to send your resume to dmartin@commutair.com. On the website it would say tmartin@commutair.com. That's the wrong one. So, I sent my resume to the wrong email like 6 times. I finally called and they told me the right email. I was just sent for my drug screening and my past. So, all I look forward to is starting training and passing the tests. |

I worked for USAirways mainline for a lot of years (customer service agent) and always liked when the dash 8's and the dornier's came in. They looked like little babies compared to the jets. I don't remember sending the questionnare and resume' to anyone in particular.....just clicked on submit. Hopefully, they got it. |

It's very exciting to see the LGA flight come in. I always check when they leave so I go down to cargo bay and watch it taxi away. So, you have a lot of experience when it comes to customer service. I know some friends that work at US Airways ticket counter and they are all excited for me going into training next month. The Dash 8 started flying in around the 3rd of this month. It used to be the Saab. I love the Dash compared to the Saab. Don't hope they get it, know that they got it. So, double check with it and email it to Danielle directly on my last forum. If you like, let's email each other to keep each other posted on what's going on. My email is rynaldyrvp@yahoo.com. |

Oh yeah, forgot about the Saab's! Yes, I should check to make sure that Danielle received it. Sending you an email. Thanks! |

Once I started seeing the Dash coming in for the first landing. I was like, "WOOHOO!!" Double checking on the email to Danielle is cruical to getting back to you. Usually, emailing is much faster than a return phone call. I don't know what is that, however its better for some. You also have yahoo? That's great, I look forward to your email and added you to my friend's list. |

I hope this is possible Hi Mibella. I'm Rynaldy, nice to meet you. Well, I'm not sure how that works with Commutair. You should contact Danielle, the recruiter, to see if you can attend a training. If you were accepted to training, they should give you another shot. Go to their website and either email her or call her from her office. |

Well I am glad I found this small forum. I applied to CommutAir last week and just sent out the emails to everyone. I hope to be joining the team soon! It's a great family, so I've heard. :-) |

Thanks for checking for me. I had hoped to get an interview for CLE (it would be the perfect location for me). As of this summer, they were only hiring for EWR. I hope to hear something soon about CLE, so maybe I'll submit another application. Have you applied to them? |
