I had six interviews with this company, and a background check. On the seventh interview they sent me an email telling me they picked somebody else. Total BS since they are still posting the help wanted. These people don't know what they want! On top of that, I called to find out why they didn't hire me, and they didn't even have the decency to give me an answer after putting me through the grinder. Like I said... waste of your time. Learn from my mistakes, don't interview there.

I think companies are just filled with corporate morons. I too have experienced an incredible resistance for being hired for any number of software jobs I should have been a shoein for. I have no idea what they want or what the game is. It's not straight up anymore and the jobs do go unfilled. Screw em I say.

Sometimes companies will offer positions they have no plans of filling, and really want a cheap worker with a visa. Rules are that if you can't find a US citizen for a position, then you can obtain more workers by asking for workers with visas. Could be IBM has no real plans to hire someone from the US, but just wants to say "they tried" and could not find a qualified worker, and must obtain a visa worker. Goes on all the time...

Now, in all honesty don't you think that after the third interview that they may be just practicing on you?

You should bill them as Human Resource Robot Hiring Tool.

Seriously... where's the consolation prize? Don't care really, I got an offer from another company and will likely be getting another offer from a different company tomorrow. I'm gonna have these companies bid for me, see if I can raise my value. If companies can use me, I can use them. No prisoners, no loyalty... CAPITALISM!

CSC- is the biggest back stabbing place I have EVER worked. They hired me to work at: NASA- dryden Flight research center at: Edwards air base last winter. I went there- got the job- jumped thru all their little hoops... I worked there for 3 months and got fired by the a......le who hired me. He said I wasn't fitting in like family. ????
I told him, I didnt come there to be family. I came there to work- but at Dryden- they all have been there forever and they play little baby games like- "dont sit in my chair- thats my stool- my machines"... bla- bla- bla... I never missed or did anything wrong- and one day the jerk calls me in and says- "you're not cutting it". After I borrowed $2,500 bucks and rented an apt. In Lancater - to be close to the job. Bought a new $300 dollar nextel phone- because that is the only co. that works on base- all that- and it was nothing but stupid politics and baby head games. I never trused him from the beginning. They walked me out and stood me there with a security guard and stripped the parking decal off my windshield with a pocket knife and marched me out- so humiliating in front of my peers - who were leaving work at the time- No real explanation. Just total BS. CSC rott in Hell!!!
