What's the company culture at COMSYS?

Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at COMSYS?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at COMSYS?

My experience with COMSYS has been horrible. I was happily working elsewhere before I was contacted by COMSYS for a more lucrative position. I agreed, had a great technical round and was offered a position.

So far so good. After a few months, during holiday season, They asked me to take a forced vacation, as "mandated" by the client (JP Morgan Chase, which apparently did so nationwide). I was promised to be paid as I was a salaried employee as opposed to a contractor. COMSYS retracted that in the middle and left me with no other option. 2 week's pay lost.

Then came new year and JPMC has budgetary constraints and rolled me off the project. COMSYS, which offers a bench period inbetween jobs, something which is required by law for H1Bs, tried to skirt around by saying that they would only pay the bench period IF I get a new project. It suits them great - but I wondered how they mislead you by mentioning completely the opposite in their benefits package and more importantly, how they make a brazen mockery of laws that govern employment.

There are other items in their benefits package that are meant to victimize the employee. One, for example is Mass Transit Account - supposedly to be subsidized if you take a train etc to your work. Caveat? - They would accept only if you use a speacial card to purchase the monthly pass - All major cities like Chicago and New York that I've worked in - only accept case or check - No credit card. Moreover, when I contcated the company that provides that Mass Transit discounts, they told me that COMSYS chose the option of mandatory card usage and that there are other, better plans in offer.

One last important issue - COMSYS does ONLY EB3 applications for Green Card (which, quite skillfully they hide) - which is the slowest and least applicable to candidates at times.

In short, my experience - HORRIBLE.
