THEY HAVE HAD THIS POSITION TOGETHER WITH OTHERS, IN SIMILAR FORM AND CONTENT FOR OVER 7 MONTHS. THERE IS NOT JOB. EVEN THE CORPORATE OFFICE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF A POSITION. THEY ARE FRAUDS.... |

Bob, Which position are you referring to? They have about 20 listed on indeed. I was looking at quantitative analyst positions. |

Thank God I realized in time that I was going to be completely ripped off if I signed with Countrywide. I am really happy that they are going out of business |

Countrywide is not going out of business any sooner than any other company. Everyone is having trouble with subprime loans. And, they do have positions available as I was just hired for one. The market everywhere is lacking to say the least, so the media picks on the big dog. |

You are the idiot, they closed the office in Phx, and gave the employees less than 2hours to clean out their desks. The company let over 136 people go in less than 2 hours, genius. |

Yes they are letting people go, but with that said they haven't closed their doors in an hour like the other companies you may have boasted about before. I used to work for them and have nothing bad to say. It was an easy process and surely if you have the credentials and know the correct channels to use you would get hired. I worked with several people like that and I do know that if you don't pass the complete background check. . . Sorry you can't work for them :) |

Just an FYI I spoke to someone who is employed at Countrywide and they have enough funds to last them for the next 14 months that is if NONE of their loans perform on the secondary market. Hmmmm highly doubt that out of all the loans they have none will perform. Don't worry it is still one of the best ran companies I have worked for and that includes other top financial institutions in the nation. |

CW. I hate them. The company is a rip off. Over time I lost 3000.00 and 180days late on my credit check. I would get no answer from no one. No wonder they went under. |

If you have a negative on your credit from this company. I suggest that you go to the Internet Law Libarary and look up the United States Code, for the Fair Credit Reporting act. It will tell you the way to have that removed. Just don't let the credit agencies push you around. Country Wide is just like all the other hard money lenders, they want your house, until lately. |

Countrywide isn't a hard money lender and they don't want your house. They are not in the foreclosure business either. Most lenders lose money on foreclosures especially with all of the 100% LTV lending going on. Countrywide was the 1st lenders to lend to people with less than 20% down. They were able to help many people in homes that would have never been home owners. Countrywide is only in the news because they are the bigest. All of the mortgage industry is suffering. |

Overtime Class Action Investigation | Countrywide Financial If you were employed by Countrywide Financial as a mortgage loan officer, processor, originator, or consultant (and then laid-off) you might want to contact some overtime class action attorneys investigating various employment issues, including unpaid wages and overtime: |

I have had my loan with Countrywide for over 7 years, they kept raising my monthly payment, when I call to find out answers I get the run around and feel frustrated and confused. My payment started out at 800 per month and within a year or so they wanted 1200. I have just done what they said because they threatened to foreclose. Right now I am 3 months behind and they refuse to take any payment at all unless I pay the whole amount of late charges and what ever else due - over 5000.00 when I figure it out I should not owe that much but some how they have added on all kinds of late charges.
When I first got my loan it was through a different lender and it was hard to get the right address from them to send the payment to the right place.(this might have something to do with some of my late charges) When late charges started accruing I tried to contact them to find our exactly what I owed. They would give me a figure. I would make the payment immediately. The payment would never show on our account. They'd add more late charges and say they couldn't accept a partial payment. I found an article in my local newspaper stating that the government is stepping in, so I am hoping that I am not crazy and that this matter will get resolved some how. I was told by a reputable lender that this kind of stuff is happening a lot with Countrywide and that they want my equity. I now owe more on my loan than when I originally got the loan. I think there might be some legal action that can be obtained. This is not all they have done but I have to get every thing organized because I have been feeling like I was going crazy trying to figure out how this could have happened. |

They did the same thing to me about the payments. Also they lost $3000.00! Some where in their system. They wouldn't fix it ether. They can rip you off so easy and get away with it. That is the bad thing for paying people. But we are the "wrong" ones. They know all.
