Looks like I am not the only person who is absolutely dumbfounded at the lack of professionalism shown by these goofs at Countrywide. I am an MBA petroleum landman (18 years) with 4 years of formal real estate appraisal experience (residential, commercial, agriculture, eminent domain, rights-of-way, Yellow Book, and Department of Interior) and over 450 hours of AI and ASFMRA education ready to sit for the State General Certified Appriaser exam. I have sent in at least 9 responses and resumes and these folks do not even have the good business graces to call or send a return e-mail. If this is their common business practice, I do not want to work for them, to use any of their services, and will most certainly make sure nobody I ever know or come into contact with ever uses their products or services. |

Ron is Right! but I did foolishly work for Countrywide. Should you tell prosepective borrowers to not do business with Countrywide YES WARN everyone! I was an AVP in Customer Service and Countrywide will not immediately (within 48 hours of receipt) apply payments though they have the payments! Many times in data processing entire payments were destroyed by the machines used; in both instances (delay in posting, and destroyed payments) Countrywide destroyed people's credit by reporting them as LATE ON THEIR MORTGAGE; if you understand anything about credit you know there are two accounts you can never be late on YOUR HOUSE and your car. No matter what I did, Countrywide would not change these errors. Even when I reversed a misreport to a credit history for the above reasons- credit bureaus didn't always comply! they told Countrywide (my Dept.) to "Prove it" - because of Fed and State laws and regulations this was not a reality request....When you apply with Countrywide

I HAVE TRIED FOR MONTHS FOR A POSITION WITH COUNTRYWIDE. THE LOCAL OFFICES DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS EVEN AFTER SPEAKING WITH AN OFFICE MANAGER. SHE WILL NOT RETURN A PHONE CALL OR RETURN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF AN EMAIL. THIS IS "RUDE-BUSINESS" BEHAVIOR. I AM SURE IF I CALLED AND NEEDED A LOAN THEY WOULD STEP UP ASAP. THEY APPEAR TO BE ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS IN THEIR LOCAL OFFICES. I AM AN AGENT AND I WILL NEVER AGAIN SEND A CLIENT THERE WAY AND I WILL TELL FELLOW AGENTS. YES, I AM PUTTING IT OUT THERE. JUST LIKE THAT. |

I HATE CW!!!!!!!!!! I didn't work for them. But had a loan bought by them. My payments were all ways on time and more then the payment. Until they took over the loan my payments were sent back. Made late all the time. Put on my credit record that it was 180days late. Over $3000.00, over time became missing on my loan. Thanks to god I now have a loan through First Commonwealth. Again never been late on a payment and I pay more. The money has not "became missing". I tell eveyone I know. I HATE COUNTRY WIDE!!!!!!!! |

I loved working at CHL Wholesale, did not enjoy the politics though. Who would? Mortgage Industry should be your last place to find a career at this time. Looking for other comments relating to recent layoffs with company ? Please contact me. I need some information.
