On ABC evening news last night, 9/19/07, it was reported that CFC said that they would allow their borrowers to skip 3 months of payments if they were hurricane victims. A number of families were interviewed that skipped the payments only to have CFC file a Notice of Default and charge them penalties and interst for the missed payments. Any one have any info. on this practice? |
