Hi. I just applied to a Retail Management Trainee position with CVS. I wanted to know what are my chances of advancing to higher management positions if I am accepted and what positon will I start right now and what salary can I expect? I have 3 years of management and customer service experience in the hotel industry hotel and I have a BS degree in Health Sciences.
How many hours can I expect to work when I start and how long before I can obtain a Store Manager position?

In most states you work 45 hours a week as an ASM. How long it takes you to get a store of your own heavily depends on two factors: how well you do in the SMD program and how soon a store becomes available once you're the next in line to be a Store Manager.

Does anyone know how long the average length of wait to become a store manager is? I was just offered a position with CVS. However, after reading much of this I am nervous.
