What do you like best about working at D.R. Horton? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees?

Great place to work at when the times are good. I worked over 3 years, not one cost of living raise, layoffs all over the place and they expect you to be "on the deal" meaning - be HAPPY you at least have a job. Don't expect anything else. They'll push y ou and consolidate any job that was "downsized" and make it yours. Management does not assist with tasks and many do not even know processes. Don't be fooled by this company. Lower pricing houses = lower pricing materials and more warranty issues in the future. I'd never buy a home from this company at least in my area. No gas reimbursements, work extra hours, put your all into a company and get a let go because they can't cut their own managerial bonuses to keep the places going. Sad and disappointing.
