Congratulations to all of you...I am truly and sincerely very happy for all of you. I wish you all the best SUCCESS in the world...I have faith in each and every one of you that you all will be wearing the beautiful Delta uniform and proudly wear the wings each and every one of you will soon earn

As of this morning wed.5/7/08 NO EMAILS for me yet.
I do feel somewhat lost, don't know what to think or how to feel.

However, I am still feeling Blessed by getting to know such a wonderful people in this group. I hope we will all still meet soon.

LAX, normally those who didn't make it into the class got a thanks but no thanks letter the same time the others went out. I would call Shea and see where you are at. I haven't given up on you... don't you give up either.

Coming from fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada actually, did I accidentally sign up for this accound with a Sacramento location? ahaha :)) oops I'll have to check on that :))) My printer survived and I put all of my papers in a 3 ring binder like HeiPaaDeg did. They also told me that I should look for the hotel and eticket confirmation on 5/9 - I cant wait!!!!!! Today is my LAST day at my current job!!!! Awesome!!!! :)))))))))

Hey guys!!! Deltabird here!!! I am coming on May 13th!! WOOHOOOOOO!! soooo excited and NERVOUS!! I interviewed first day first round nov 26th! Waited 12 weeks and got the rejection email! THEN 2 weeks ago they called me!! They just called me today for the 13th. I still haven't recieved the packet yet! Can't wait to meet you guys!!!

Just got a call from USIS. Seems the company I worked for no longer has my department nor any records for anyone during those years. The guy was real nice and explained the situation to me. I finally tracked down my old boss's telephone number and emailed it to USIS.
He said my file needed to be closed by 4pm tomorrow. I hope they call her, get the info they need and release me for training on the 13th.
I'm going to call Shea tomorrow morning and let her know what is happening.
Start sending those thoughts and prayers gang... I'd hate to think I got bumped out of training because someone shredded the HR files at Comcast here in Flint.
ARGH!!! Now 24 hours of nail-chewing begins!

Its actually just a nickname my mom and dad call me - calisa - and I added the "c" because there was already a calisa at hotmail. my packet said the same thing, But i received an email yesterday saying that I should report (:30 on thursady morning to do another drugs and fingerprint test before training starts at noon. So i think it's tuesday. This will be stressful, but FUNNNNNNNN.

haha I know I shouldn't have but then I was like "its my last day, what are they gonna do??? fire me?!?!??" :)))))

On the subject of calendars: I actually got two calendars from them, one says that Monday is the first day with the subject of "Training Orientation," and the other says that Tuesday is the first day and the subject is "Company and Training Orientation"... so weird! But I was just assuming the one that has Monday as the first day was a mistake, since we will be traveling to ATL on that day. But maybe I am wrong... I actually have a list going that I need to ask them about so I should add that question to it. Actually I have lists upon lists upon lists going and my entire bedroom is a disaster area as I am trying to get my stuff together haha :))))

the calendar you got with your info packet... the one without actual dates, is a mock up of the schedule. The one with actual dates May13, 14th... that is the one to go by. The one that starts with Tuesday is the real one... <grin>

I got a call this morning telling me what I needed for them to clear me. Ran around like a chicken with my head cut off this morning and got the info fax'ed over to USIS. Now, if all is right, see you on the 13th!!!

Did any of you get a completely blank "Training E mail 3" ?? I did received the "Training E mail 3 with attachments", fine . . . but the first "Training E mail 3" has nothing in the body AT ALL . . . just a totally blank e-mail.

I'm concerned that I'm missing some attachments or something to complete. I don't really have any forms in anything I downloaded to "fill-out". Without any forms to bring in completed I'm feeling overwhelmingly and completely LOST !!! LOL ;)

I've called USIS so many times, I don't have to wait for the prompts. LOL

Don't worry, you got all the attachments I did. So if we are missing something, we are in the same boat. I just can't wait for tomorrow's email with the travel details. We will have to keep each other posted on arrival times to ATL and we can organize a meet & greet.

There is a guy on the Delta BTDT forum here on indeed who just lost a family member. He was supposed to join us on our 13th class but had to pull out. It would be nice if you could jump over there and let me know you are thinking about him and tell him sorry for his loss. After all, we are all Delta. His name is Eddie. Thanks gang, it should help to lift his spirits.

Nothing yet here - - - - - I did received a call today from Delta (actually people services) asking me to go locally (to the airport) to have the fingerprints taken instead of the doing them on the first day of training.

I'll be doing that tomorrow morning so I won't be by my computer until later in the day. Hope everyone receives their information bright and early!! :)

I presume you mean EWR Newark? I suppose they may only have the facilities to do the fingerprinting at major bases like JFK and ATL. Don't worry - there's a bunch of us going in early to HQ before training starts to be fingerprinted - come hang with us :)
