Hi again anyone who is taking the time to read this. I did the phone interview and they told the usual congrats we would like to setup an F2F interview however they said they don't have any openings at the moment. When I do go for this F2F, can anyone give me any coaching as to what they like to hear or what would be the best way to stand out for this position? I mean any help would be appreciated. I got laid off from my previous job and I went with Delta because they are a leading airline company plus they have plenty of room for advancement. I would like to have a career later on as a work in the OCC department of Delta in ATL. |

I am in the same position as you with the F2F thing. I was passed through both phone interviews with ease and was told there should be appointments for a face to face interview could be tomorrow and could be in 2 weeks. Did you ever have yours? Did you have it at your airport or have to fly somewhere else for it? How did it go? |

HAHAHHA yes, the same thing happened to me last night.... they said, congrats u passed the interview, next we want to set up a face to face interview but no appointments are available..... it was like this guy was reading from a paper... So I believe this is all a big scam to take advantage of unemployed ppl, just so delta can "widen" their base or some sort of free advertisment... i dk... its crap if u ask me, cuz i was really hoping on gettin this job |

You know, that is so funny! It was kind of awkward now that i think about it. I have to tell you, i did a phone interview for Delta Res, and they actually did call me back and asked me if I was still Interested, and i denied the position, as I was really looking for Ramp/Baggage! We shall see. I just got let down for SWA after a great F2F, and was so bummed, but oh well! Good luck! |

Hi! I Know someone who has an Baggage-handler interview tomorrow in Michigan, so I am checking the board for information. This might help you understand the Delta process, Delta has an outside company called People Scout perform the initial stage of the recruitment/screening process. That maybe why it sounds like they are reading from a script. The airline hiring process can take months, don't get discouraged!

Hey guys,I haven been watching these forums for awhile through my process with delta. Just wanted to share my experience. I applied on Sept26, did the phone interview the same day. Then I called the next day and was offered a f2f for oct 3rd. Got offered the position on the spot. Did the agility test, finger printing, drug test, heaing test all the same day. and about a week and a half, the bakcground people called asking for info, which i faxed asap. Then the following day, they called and said when i start training. My process was kind of fast, but i did call everyday to check my status and check what was going on. So keep that i mind, and wish all of you good luck! stay positive |
