delta ready reserve customer service agent - san diego

i interviewed last week after having applied online and getting phone screened two weeks ago. does anyone know how long it takes to hear back from delta? the manager said i would be notified by this week about the hiring decisions but i haven't heard anything. does delta send rejection letters/emails?

i'm nervous and want to know what to expect!

Which interview?

The phone screening was simple. I was asked about what customer service was to me, how I handled a difficult situation at my most recent position, why I wanted to work for Delta. I was just myself and the lady I screened with was nice. They screen you, via a 3rd party, I was screened out of 600+ people.

Next, I interviewed face-to-face and that was a week later. It was only 20 minute intervals that they were interviewing and for only 2 days. You have to make it when they're doing to interviews, they won't open another time slot for anyone. The interviewer asked me if I had any experience with an airline, told me about the position (read reserve CSA), he then told me that he was interviewing 30 people and that most of the interviewees had actually been been recommended by current employees so they skipped the screening process, he also said it was impressive that I had even got the interview and that the screeners must have seen something in me. He then said that offers would most likely be made the following week, but I haven't heard anything.

We'll see how it all turns out. I don't feel hopeful about it anymore. But at least I got to the actual face-to-face. I'm just going to keep with my current job (even if it sucks) and apply again, even with other airlines. :]
