Town Hall Highlights - 05/14/2008: HP/EDS Buyout

Here are the basic points covered in the Town Hall broadcast of 05/14/2008:

- A special committee is being formed to decide your fate
- Nothing regarding the HP deal is definitive until the committee feels so inclined to relay the information to the masses
- Meetings with Xerox won't be fun
- More EDS employees will be fired to further "streamline" the company. Even if the HP deal never existed, Ritenemeyer still planned to give employees the boot.
- Ron fully supports Best Shore
- HP is our enemy! If we begin treating our relationship with HP like a "date", we will have a "bad afternoon" with Ron.
- Don't be dumb, "duh"!
- Rittenmeyer's leadership group are a bunch of "wusses"
- Comb-over's are bad, m'kay...
- Quit your "b1tching" and get back to work!

That pretty much sums it up. Oh, and since Ron Rittenmeyer peruses the blogs and forums regarding EDS, perhaps he can fill in anything that this post has left out.
