Viox Services are the worse!

I recently worked for Viox Services at the Alcoa-Howmet plant in Rockaway NJ, a disgusting place to work, however I left along with five other Viox employees in just the past six months, thank god! First of all, Viox is just an Emcor owned company, not the well known Emcor itself. Viox’s medical benefits package is one of the worse I have seen. The monthly out of pocket cost to an empoyee with a family of three or more is phenomenally high. They offer no paid sick days or personal days so don’t ever get sick. You have to be employed by Viox for six full months before you get paid Holidays and their paid vacation policy stinks. You may end up working almost two years for Viox before you get a lousy five paid vacation days off. And if that’s not bad enough, Viox is the only company I know who pays only time and a half for any overtime worked, including Sundays and Holidays. So Even if you work 24/7 you will not get paid more the time and a half for Sunday. I asked the HR department at Viox why and the answer they gave me was , “there is no law that says we have to pay more then time and a half for overtime, so we don't”. And if the benefits were not bad enough the working conditions and BS we had to put up with at Alcoa-Howmet by Alcoa management and some of their employees were horrible . If I had to rate the entire experience from 1 to 10 it would be ZERO!
