Hey, eveyone. I'm new to this site and to the sales/brokerage arena. I am currently in the process of interviewing for Edward Jones (I just completed inital screening and am moving into the hiring manager screening). I see from the boards that there is a wealth of knowledge here that I would like to tap into. I have been working healthcare for 10 years and am possibly switching into this field. I was wonder if you guys could help with a few questions: 1)What is the training process like? Is it out of town? I know its about 18 weeks. I am getting married this October; would this interfere with the training? 2) I hear nothing but praise as to working for Edward Jones. What are some of the perks/benfits/pros that everyone is most attracted to? Is healthcare included; or is it up to the individual? 3) Any advice for an professional changing fields and entering this one? Do you guys feel like you help your clients; I am really attracted to EJ's commitment to serving the client rather than just forcing products coldly? I think that will help to start; i"m sure moer will pop up. |
