Eos Airlines Interview Questions.

Pink - Please don't give up. Interview with a regional just for the time being if what you really want isn't coming through right now. Believe me, I've thought hard about returning to the regional where I had the OJI - just can't bring myself to do it. But please don't give up.
I'm hearing a lot of different stories from peoples' EOS FTF experiences, just depending on where they were interviewed. If one city doesn't work out and you have the ability to interview someplace else, I'd certainly do it.

Congratulations!! I remember you! I seemed to have been lost in the shuffle. No call, no email , no letter. I know it doesn't look good but I still want to know either way. Its been 2 weeks. I have an offer with another carrier but I really wanted EOS. I miss flying. My dad was in the airline industry too so its in my blood.

Dainty - I would mail it if they can't confirm that they received it by email. They're doing a ton of interviewing over the next month in 3 different cities - it would be a great time for you to get your interview.

Laura, The questions are very typical. They just ask you about your prior experience, what you're looking for, what attracted you to EOS vs. another company. You shouldn't have any trouble at all with the phone screening.

how do you know if you passed the phone interview?

Overall how important is the survival exercise?

Also, do flight attendants get lunch or dinner breaks while they're on the flight?

I'm also really curious about pay. I assume everyone is paid biweekly but are FAs on salary or hourly pay.

Are FA staying overnight in London? Do they stay at a hotel and pay for it out of pocket?

Only important if you make it to the second round and even then you still might not get the call after your testing.

RJ, I applied to EOS online three days ago. Do you know how long it takes for them to contact an applicant? I probably should have typed in their "notes" box that I'm fluent in french (for the paris/ny flight) but I assumed they would see that in my resume......
All this talk about Delta merging and if so, newbies possibly losing their job is not very re-assuring even if they offer me a training date, so here I am......... :-)

Hello, my neighbor I live in south jersey also. I had an EOS interview and was not offered a position. dont take this the wrong way. If you were not interviewed yet. they will answer all your questions. I would focus on being the best you can be that day. Appearance, personality and being prepared. dont even waste time on anything else. its in their presentation. Relax have fun, and SHINE!!

Hey RJ, Interesting, I did not get a interview via telephone just invited to the session. It seems that they are handling it different with each city.

Although not selected by EOS DAL found me worthy. I was one of the fortunate ones in the group. I was surprised at the small amount chosen because there were many qualified candidates.

RJ, the only thing I got from them after filling out online app. was the acknowledgement email--that's it! I'm going to do what MALTI did, fill another one out! :-)

HI< Natasha L'vaion has responded says the cut off date was three months ago spoke to a lady name SYLVIE, she was kind of rude but still go for it you never know. they ask for photos and if you speak french you will be considererd however i didnt.Do you know of any other airlines that are hiring now?

Hi Natasha.. I believe my class (February 18th) is now full because they have sent out the name list for the people that are in it (So we can all get to know each other).

They are still hiring though...as they told us they were planning on hiring around 200-300 more FA's and there are only 35 in my class.. I think they are doing one every month until they get their numbers. So don't give up!

On another note - how did the people with interviews in Philly go? Any good news?

I was one of the 6 chosen for testing :-)...the next day I got the ax though...:-(

What is the test JWander referred to? Is this a basic skills test... or language test? I'm good on the basic skills... :) but as for the language...I am not bilingual... however.. I can understand some Italian.

There is a test of around 130 questions..not so much a basic skills test but more of a test that reveals your personality (sort of a psych test).

There are a couple of strange mathematical questions (maybe 5 or so). But they are more about logic than math (eg. If sally is driving a distance of 30 miles at 50 miles an hour and Pete is driving 15 miles at 100 miles an hour...who will get to point A first blah blah etc)

Other than that they are trying to figure out how you deal with certain situations with co-workers and passengers etc. I guess it reveals your attitude in some ways too.

The day we went there was about 10 of us doing the test and I think at least half got rejected after the test..

There was no testing to do with language though... I also distinctly recall they don't care if you have a second language (at this stage at least) - they would just like you to be proficient in English (or American lol!)

LOL..yea, I think the Brits think there's a definite distinction between their language and "american."...LOL..which THERE IS!

Even between Australian and American there's a big difference. At first I was just saying it as a joke..but truly...there are so many differences! Not that it matters! I love my yankees xxx
