What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does Esports Partners stack up against the competition?

The place is not employee friendly. Under paid and over worked with impossible deadlines. The Owner, Michael McKay is an out of touch dictator. Management and sports buyers there are incompetent.
If you get a response back from them for a designers job, run...
if your dumb enough to go aeah and go work there, you will quite in two weeks.

Read the comments. All of the writing is on the wall. Be warned. How can so many people have the same feelings? Where are all of the good comments? They got their start from the Dallas Cowboys, and now they have lost them. Indianapolis Colts are gone... There's a reason they are loosing top notch teams.

Esportspartners = High Turnover Rate
Approximately 2 to 3 employees leave by quitting
or firing monthly (as of 2007). About 25 employees compose the workforce at Esports Partners.

Esportspartners = Ignorant Business Model
Michael McKay built Esportspartners from a
home based business (in his garage) and
continues to manage it as such. All managers
in his departments are handcuffed by Michael's distrust of everyone and refusal to delegate authority.

Esportspartners = Toxic Work Environment
Technology of servers, computers, monitors, etc.
are behind the times, making impossible
deadlines even more so. High employee turnover rate
results in confusion and inconsistency.
If you are salaried, then you are expected
to show up and leave when he dictates; anyone
with a family should avoid this place if you
want to see your kids during the week.

Avoid working at Esportspartners unless you
are willing to work 50-60 hours per week and'live your life around the schedule and whims of the CEO
and VP of Esportspartners.

M_Surtees is obviously some lame employee. That is one of the worst run dictatorships ever, owner believes the world revolves around him and the vp hes been shagging for years. has no clues to worker safety issues or real business. run for your life, any business that burns through accountants at a rate of 1 every 6 months, and moves more than someone in witness protection. worst bunch of crooks ever.

Does anyone know how to get ahold of this company? Their site just rolls through the same message over and over. They owe us a past due amount and have left messages for about 150 days. ARe they belly-up? Anyone know where Michael McKay lives?

M_Surtees is a nice lady. Clearly McKay held a gun to her head and made her type that. Matters not. She quit. lol

Keep calling bill collector people! You will eventually reach accounting, or customer support, or someone not appropriate to answer your question, and they you will be summarily ignored. Best bet? Sue.

Oh nooooooo.....What's that sound?

It's eSports crumbling to the ground!!!!!

Things seem to be falling apart for this awesome company. NY Giants just left only after eSport's servers were down and their phones disconnected. (www.dmnews.com/new-york-giants-kick-off-revamped-e-commerce-portal/article/175763/) What? Thay can't pay their employees? Hmmmm. What? Creditors calling left and right? Ruh Roh...

I had such high hopes for this company. I hoped it came crumbling down sooner that it did. But, at last.....i feel good! The coffin is closed.

The whole tone for the company can be summed up by dishonesty and corruption by it's owner. Check out this story about McKay, which was posted by his high school after he went for a visit:

www.eatonbaseball.com/MikeMcKay.pdf

In the second page, second paragraph... "He worked his way through college, finding ways to make things work despite his father’s recent bankruptcy filing. McKay would routinely take a duffel bag into a pizza buffet to load up on food for the week. There was nothing that said one couldn’t do that, and it allowed him to survive, and thrive, in college."

There's probably nothing posted on the wall that says "Don't walk out of here with the TV and don't take the money out of the register," but you know from common sense and decency that to do so would be THIEVERY. He is a person of low moral standard, and this type of mentality is what has led to his demise--leaving his clients, suppliers and service companies holding the bag... likely amounting in MILLIONS of dollars.

Funny thing... Another note in the quote pulled from above... "After his father's bankruptcy filing..." Yeah... looks like he is a chip off the old block.

EPIC FAIL:

No reason given? Here's the reason... You can't make money to pay the University its annual due if you can't get products to sell to the customers. Its kind of a black eye to be unable to sell merchandise produced by the company that supplies and endorses the team. PPPPOWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!
