Received a call from District HR for a scheduled interview, which had a DSL designate and a manager, both very cordial, friendly, but business-minded. Interview scheduled for November 5th. Did you have the drug test, background check, and DOT physical? that all came for me before the big guy interview. |

Nope...never made it past the 2nd interview. Received a "no thanks" email about 3 days after my 2nd interview. Someone else had previous route experience over me (even though I worked for FedEx for 3 years while in college). Even though the 2nd interview lasted well over an hour, and we interviewed each other, I have a feeling I was overqualified...they took one look at me on paper, and probably thought I'd haul ass to greener pastures when/if the "going got tough" (I have a Master's degree). Oh well. They were nice folks, though. Overall, my experience was positive. Good luck to all...as this is my last post. =) WoM |

Captain Kangaroo in Raleigh, North Carolina said: That is about the salary range. Remember Frito Lay is all Commission not Hourly. When you are on a commission job, it does not matter how many hours you work, its getting the work done. After a many months or a year when you really become experiences and know how to get the job completely done properly as well as have a solid trust factor with your stores and Frito Lay DSL's, you can cut those hours down. When I left as an RSR I was working about 38 hours. So speed to get it done and make more on commission is the key. Cutting corners will hurt you. It depends on your motivation level and quickness to figure out how to get it done still maintaining standards. Capt u have more info on frito than anyone. I have a job now but my company doesnt offer benefits and i have been paying my own medical but it is getting to hard to afford. Not many jobs here that start at around 600 with bennys. I am a little concered from all these posts. THey have offered me a job as an rsa but i dont know if i should accept it? Is there any positives to this job? U did it for 6 yrs then switched to DSL. Why did u quit? Was your exp at Frito helpful in landing another job? TY!!! |
