Do you work at Farmers Insurance? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

I am confused? why is that your credit has to be good in order to become an employee with farmers, my credit has nothing to do with me wanting to have a job!!!!!!!!! |

Credit history has nothing to do with your WANTING an job but it has everything to do with the company wanting you. Credit history is a good measure of the way you view your commitments and obligations. If you have poor credit then your outlook on work ethics may be less than desireable. Creit shows how you handle your pormises and if you have poor credit it shows that your promises mean little to you. |

I have worked for Farmers Insurance and they are an excellent company to work for with great benefits. Where are you applying? What state are you looking to work in? Are you a recent college graduate? |

Because they have to look into your credit record to see your rating; if you have any bankrupcies or to see how much in debt you are. You are dealing with people's money when you sell the product; so there is more responsibility than you think when selling insurance. Plus, it shows that the district office has trust in you when making the decision to bring you on board.
