Fedex Ground is strong and continues to grow and thrive and constantly outperforms the other op cos in the Fedex family. Yearly double digit growth or close to it, good operating margins and profitability make it a pretty secure place to work. The company is constantly expanding thru the expansion of new hubs and smaller satellites so the need is always there for new blood. You have to keep one thing in mind though, the transport industry is a hard industry and not for everybody. But if you dont shy away from hard work and long hours then you can grow within this company better than its competitors. We have VP's and Managing directors that started out as package handlers and manager trainees. Hope this helps.
