Skimpy pay.. Bases are lower than the industry average. Only the senior executives get the high salaries like well over $100k to 300k + variable comp plans and large cash sign-ons and certainly do not deserve it. |

Well duh an exec is going to be paid much better than a p/t teller... Did anyone expect that to be the other way around?? |

Part time CSR's start a little higher than full timers, usually at least $10.00 or a little more, to offset the lack of the higher level of benefits a full timer has. |

If you like working for peanuts, 5/3 is the place for you! Upper managment treats branch employees like dirt! |

Marie Bock in Lithia, Florida said: What type of pay is given to a part-time teller? Fifth Third pays there regular employees very poorly. Merits are an embarrassing 1% to 2% per year on average. The senior leadership usually reserves enough back to pay themselves first.
Performance reviews are a joke. What usually happens is that managers pull a rating out of their ass and submit it to HR first before any performance review or performance discussions have even taken place. Most of the time, they dont even write a review and meet with the employee because it is not important and they dont know what to evaluate, etc. (Extremely poor leadership) |

This discussion board is full of false and misleading information. If I had a poor experience with X Phone Company's customer service, I could easily post to this board that X Phone Customer is the epitomy of, as you have all said, losers and monkeys. Amazingly, this is not generally the site where employers who are happy about working with Fifth Third and customers who are happy with Fifth Third post. They will tell everyone within arms reach, or simply remain silent. However, when people are upset, they tend to have an unusual desire to proclaim it to the world. When those within an arms length tire of their complaints, they stretch there arm to sound like complete imbeciles to people who they have never met. Be slow to speak, quick to listen and gauge the marketplace. The wonderful thing about capitalism is that your vote is with your dollars. If you do not feel Fifth Third is a good employer, don't work for them. Apparently they are at least a decent employer since many educated professionals choose to work for the Bank. If you feel their customer service is lacking, don't bank with them. However, Fifth Third exists because customers choose to borrow from them, invest through them, and save through them. Finally, the racist slander about Fifth Third is ridiculous. In lending, banks must be compliant to government regulations regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, and even to specific neighborhoods. Banking is one of the highest regulated industries in this nation. If you don't mind complaining, by all means complain. However, be factual, be kind, and don't sound like a complete jerk in doing so. Negative critiques are fine. This discussion board is around for positive and negative critiques. However, understand that your use of slander and your misrepresentation of the facts does not reflect poorly on Fifth Third. They reflect poorly on you. |

That's exactly my point. If you are unhappy with Fifth Third, then "move on elsewhere..." |
