It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at First Data?

Any advice on striking the right note?

The interview process for the call center areas is very easy.
As you progress up the ladder, you will find the interview process gets more complex.

The questions involved are stereotypical interview questions.
Nothing like the interview questions Google corporation throws out.
So you won’t be asked to develop an evacuation plan for San Francisco.

Most of your questions will be
Why do you want to work for First Data?
What would your past employers say about you?
What is your experience in this area?
How will your skills, help you in this position?
How do you deal with stressful interactions?
How do you feel about adjusting your schedule?

There is nothing special or mysterious about the interview questions at a call center level. They are your basic everyday interview questions.

Other interview questions maybe similar to items found on this list

Management level and above is an entirely different ball park.
You’ll be presented with questions regarding HR situations and financial situations.
How you’ll handle an employee X and Y scenario etc.
How do you plan to help the company save on costs?
How do plan to help the company keep moral high?

Honestly, if you've applied for a management position in the past or even a position above this, the questions they ask you are pretty standard as well.
Just at a higher level and more in-depth on how you work with and deal with difficult people and make sure you’re looking out for the company’s financial and liability interests.

Good Luck, and Happy Job Hunting.
