Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Flextronics?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Flextronics?

The culture varies with each VZW Manager or Team Leader. Specifically, the Flextronics' culture represents business mediocrity to the fullest extent. Team Leaders lack education or management experience which results in many employee conflicts. Flextronics corporate directors, trainers and support staff have little to no connection to the retail personnel they are contracted to provide for Verizon Wireless. The only real resemblence of a culture that is instilled in retail personnel is that provided by the client Verizon Wireless. Within VZW, Flextronics employees are considered to be at the bottom of the food chain. Therefore, Flextronics retail teams are essentially gypsy outcasts that have a limited window of opportunity for career growth and are vastly undervalued as professionals.
Flextronics retail personnel dress in business casual attire. As far as going out on Friday nights, that is something you shouldn't partake in. Flextronics is an environment where you must keep your personal and professional lives separate. You will find a lot of friendly people in both companies nevertheless its very important to realize these individuals are not your personal friends. You will also come across many unprofessional individuals from both sides. This is why its important to understand, before working for Flextronics, your job function and not to mix your personal responsibilities with your job duties.
